The Ethernet port does connect to the cable from the router, and that transfers to the laptop through the USB-C host port on the opposite side.

The laptop riser tray is 11" x 8.5", so VIVO would not recommend a laptop larger than 15.6" (diagonal).

What is the range of compatible resolutions and refresh rates for the HDMI and Display ports? (1080p/59.94hz , 3840p/30hz, etc...)

The display output technology is MST. It will handle a single 4K display at 60Hz, dual FHD displays at 60Hz or dual 4K displays at 30Hz.
