JansenHesselsI disagree, although I have not tried Yaxi pads, these donuts do improve the sound considerably compared to the muffle of the Koss pads, as well as refining the bass from the thumpiness with foam pads. Much as many have used Grado pads to improve the sound of the KPH30i.
TbladeI have now tried the Yaxi earpads and can make a comparison report. My previous donut style earpads do improve bass response but slightly diminish the width of the soundstage. The Yaxi pads are a big improvement over the muffle of the Koss pads and provide a wide soundstage. So the choice is do you like more bass or wider soundstage? I tried the donuts on my KSC75's and the bass response improvement is well worth any loss in soundstage width.
Though it's tiny, it manages to power even high ohm headsets with amazing accuracy. It works great with the drop usb-c to usb-c and my Phillips shp-9600. Soon enough I'll be using the Akoustyx...
