AKG K553 Pro Studio Headphones
Great news! Our shipment of the AKG K553 Pro headphones just arrived our warehouse moments ago. Our warehouse guys are busy sorting the headphones at the moment, and we will start repacking them for individual orders shortly after. We will be able to start get the orders shipped out first thing on Monday. It feels awesome when everything is nicely ahead of schedule! Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us by the end of the day...

Looking for headphones along my AKG K712 Pro
Hello, this is my first post, having some trouble figuring out the how the board works but nvm that. Anyway, I'm a musician (also have my small home studio) and a gamer, my current headphones are the AKG K712 Pro and I use Focusrite Clarett 4...

Drop + HIFIMAN HE4XX Planar Magnetic Headphones
It depends what style of music you like. I do not use my HD6XX for music but only for movies as it has a strong bass and very neutral highs. For music I enjoy my AKG712 Pro because they reproduce violins and cellos lifelike. The reverberations of these instruments with an AKG is simply sublime. I am a listener mostly of classical and Jazz music but also some rock-ountry style like Mark Knopfler, Dire Straits and the like... As Dac/Amp I use...

Excited for Massdrop x AKG M220 Pro Headphones
I'm no audiophile by any means, but I definitely want to explore the wonders of good sounding headphones. Since I'm just starting out, I ordered the AKG M220 and I'm actually very excited to get these in my hands in a week or so.

AKG K553 Pro Studio Headphones
My two cents: These are my everyday "go-to" headphones that I use with my portable LH Labs Geekout 2A Dac/Amp. They're built like a tank. You can't hurt them. They are convenient in that the cups swivel which makes laying them down good and also for traveling. The law of diminishing returns sets in hard with these cans. As an example, I have the Beyerdynamic T5P ($1100) closed cans and honestly, these are probably 85% of those for 1/10th...

Primary listening environment: Desk at work, ~4 hours/day w/ AKG K553 Pro headphones. Also have a set of LZ A4 IEMs that I mix in and travel with.
