Spacebar Stabilizer issue...new Drop Paragon Pulse
Yesterday, I received the new Drop CTRL Paragon Pulse keyboard. I need a suggestion to replace the stabilizers used for the space bar. These are beyond atrocious. It's not a 'sound' issue. That doesn't matter so greatly to me. It's a force actuation issue.
The space bar is so difficult to actuate (read ...non-linear force with all other keys) that I consistently cannot space between words without consciously and physically applying a greater force than all the other keys. The spacebar switch itself appears fine. It's the stabilizers on either end. I did lube the spacebar stabs with a needle application, but no improvement is noted. All other stab keys are fine. It's only the spacebar.
This is my first Drop keyboard and this issue makes it a disappointing value for the money. I shouldn't have to deal with these types of issues. Comments and suggestions are welcomed. Thank you!
Im still learning about keyboards and im not really sure what im doing, but i cant seem to make the windows key stop lighting up and switch the colors of the base leds. Does anyone know what might work? Ive tried the configuration keys and it wasnt working.
The essential components of a mechanical keyboard and how to assemble it
My purchase list is listed below:
Drop ALT V2 Barebones Mechanical Keyboard * 1
Drop MT3 Jasmine Keycap Set * 1
Drop Holy Panda X Clear Mechanical Switches * 2
Drop Jasmine Coiled YC8 Keyboard Cable * 1
I would like inquire if this keyboard kit includes stabilizers. Additionally, will the kit I'm purchasing be able to be assembled? will there are any essential components required for assembly? Should I purchase another stabilizer pack?
I got the headphones yesterday, the microphone worked at first just after i plugged it in, after a short period of time (probably 10 minutes) it suddenly stopped working, i tried absolutely everything i've seen online, the headphones work perfectly fine but the microphone only produces static, i plugged it in the front and back again, i physically moved the mic up and down to mute and unmute, i reinstalled all my audio drivers, replugged everything, checked all the windows options related to microphone privacy were correct, tried both cables and none of this works. Is there anything i can do?
How do I change only a few keys colors without needing to redo all of them?
I'm just looking to change the shine through colors of two or three keys. The rest I'd like to stay as they are since they use custom colors and it's a bit of a pain to get them the same, as well as just setting every color over again.
Is this possible?
Hello, I recently purchased a Drop ENTR from a liquidation. It's a very nice keyboard but the only issue with it is that one of the space key stabilizers is broken. Is it possible to fix this issue? what are some solutions I can use?
Does anyone know where I could get a [third party] replacement headband for the Creative Labs BlasterX H7 (same specs as the H5) gaming headphones?
It doesn’t seem like an OEM replacement is even available.
I have a few other pairs just for gaming, but I would really like to keep these usable for the foreseeable future.
Hey guys I need help. When I plug the monitors in, there's a small spark at the back of the speakers. Once it's been on for a while, the side shown in the picture where the power plugs into heats up to high temps 118 Farenheit. If I place the temp gun to the back, it doesnt even read how high it is, it just says HI. I'm pretty sure that this is not normal. Did I get a faulty unit? Because I've tried other plugs in my house and its the same. If anyone can help that'd be amazing <3 Love their sound btw thats why I want to keep it.
how to customize the LEDs of the black speech lord of the rings keyboard
Hello, this is my first ever keyboard I've had like this, all previous have had LED settings and colors very built in, so I'm extremely confused on how to change the LEDs, the color and maybe lighting pattern of this keyboard... I've seen that there are some tutorials for different drop keyboards, but this one specifically is a ENTR keyboard I think, and I have not been able to find any tutorial for that.
I love the keyboard I think its awesome, I just need some help to figure out how to customize the LEDs. Thanks
hi guys! i have a drop alt high profile, and it sometimes randomly disconnects from the pc. it doesnt matter if i touch the keyboard or not, at all. it only leaves one dim red light on the rgb strip, at the front side. what should i do?
Hi y'all, I just got one of the FL MK870 keyboard kits, and the Windows key is not functional - even after trying a couple of other switches in the socket. There's no damage to the PCB that I can see. The other issue is the LED for that key is permanently on, and stuck at a single (odd) color. I tried updating the firmware, but there isn't anything new for this unit. The OEM software works fine, but does not have any effect on the malfunctioning LED.
Any suggestions or theories are appreciated!
Hello! I’m a long time gamer and have been working in a professional office environment for the past 10 years. At work I’ve always used a crappy Logitech wireless keyboard, and I’m looking to upgrade. At home I have a Razer Black Widow Chroma from about 2010 - it’s still going strong.
I’m looking to buy a keyboard for work (so I’d like it to include 10-key) and I’ll be buying this with my own money rather than the company’s because they do not understand the want/need for a better keyboard.
I like tactile switches, but the clickety clackety of the Razer would not fly in my open air office (pretty sure they would kick me into the hallway). So I need something quiet/tactile.
Any suggestions for a fully built board under $150?
I've been thinking of getting a mini-vacuum that's safe for electronics, for my keyboards and other gadgets. I'm not too fond of compressed air as it tends to move the crud to inaccessible locations.
So how do ya'll do it? What are some good brushes? Vacuums? Can regular plastic brushes be made temporarily not static somehow? What about silicone brushes and tools? Does a little humidity in the air help on the static?
What's not working:
-headphones sound to low
-microphone sounds to low
-microphone picking up game/audio sound
-headphone getting detected as a speaker
Does anybody have the same issues as me if yes please comment, thanks.
Hello I am looking at a new pair of open backs as I'm currently using a set of Razer Barracuda X's (2020) and I've been looking at getting the Sennheiser 58x Jubilees are they any good for like really heavy metal bands like Armon Amath, MUNT, Arcanius, The Black Dahlia Murder, Hatebreed, Falling In Reverse etc etc or if they aren't the right ones what would you recommend as I am on a budget around 2-300 and don't want to blow all my money on something expensive and want them to last as I use a 120Ohm amp by Fosi Audio so if there any recommendations pls let me know
Hi all,
Less than a year ago I purchased Mechcables Skiidata Custom Coiled Aviator cable. Unfortunately it no longer works properly as my keyboard keeps disconnected during the day. Unplugging and plugging it back again resolves the issue for a while but it will disconnects again. I contacted Drop support but as the issue did not appear within 30 days of purchase, they won't offer any replacement or repair of the cable. I find this very unfortunate (and poorly from Drop side) as this is a very expensive cable and it lasted for less than a year!
Is there a way I could repair the cable somehow?
A lot of recent items do not qualify for discount with the DKC Codes
There are a lot of newer products, or products that came back in stock, that will not let me use my code on it. There is no message saying that is doesn't qualify until you try to checkout.
Is this a recent change? I haven't been able to use the code on things I want since it won't let me use my discounts
.
REALLY NOOBY question as I'm new to this. How do I connect my headphone amp directly to my pc?
I want to connect the Drop + THX AAA 789 Linear Amplifier directly to my PC. I' m not sure how to connect it to my PC. My PC has a Line In, Line Out, Mic In, C/SUB and REAR port on the back and I have a Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro so it's a single ended connection. I have a RCA to 3.5mm cable. Where does the RCA cables connect to and what does the 3.5mm cable connect to on the back of my PC?
Also, when the INPUT button is fully pushed in, is that the balanced or single ended input?
Thank you!
