Hey all The Skeleton here i've been talking with some users of geekhack and been seeing all of there amazing artisans and I have told them of getting more artisans on MD and they weren't exactly pleased they don't think artisans belong here.
But what do you think? Would you want some more artisans on Massdrop, they would of course have to be small drops but they would still be there at least.
Artisans are my favorite parts of keycaps, they are a labor of love that are unique and beautiful, and with all of these new artisans coming to Massdrop I ask. Which one is your favorite? my favorite artisan is the nebula series from jelly keys.
Want to know what song(s) you guys listen to when breaking in new headphones.
Or in other words, what song is your absolute go-to when you get those new cans, IEMs or headphones?
I'm just getting into higher-end gear myself so I'd love some recommendations. That, and branching out with music is always good.

Does anyone have a suggested AMP / DAC for the Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 6XX?
Thanks everyone for the suggestions, after review I ended up getting the Schiit Modi 2 and Vali 2!
Hey everybody,
We want to ask a simple question…
Do you care about personalizing the products you’re most passionate about?
This could include your name or initials, or even just serialized numbers to make it truly one of a kind and made especially for you.
In the Audiophile Community, this would mainly mean your headphones (as we’ve done this kind of thing in the past), but could also mean other products too. If there’s enough interest here, we can take this to the next step. We’ll also pose this exact question to other communities as well if we believe this is something the community truly desires.
We’re listening closely so let us know in the comments below.
Can we get some keycaps with Chinese Zhuyin (Bopomofo)?
I've seen a lot of caps with Japanese hiragana legends lately, but rarely ever do I stumble upon any with Chinese Zhuyin. For those who don't know Zhuyin is one of the phonetic alphabets used to type Chinese characters, today it's mainly used in Taiwan, but many older generation Mainlander Chinese use it or at least know it as well. Here's an image of a Zhuyin keycap set I found online, I think it's from zFrontier's GMK Zhuyin.
I know that there probably isn't a wide audience for Zhuyin as an input method, as Taiwan is the only place I know that still teaches Zhuyin in schools and China has ditched Zhuyin in favour of Pinyin - a Romanised system. However, I do believe that the legends on keycaps should be more than just linguistical symbols that help you type, but also decorations that serve cosmetic purposes to make the board more unique and even reinforce a sense of identity to its user. I personally find them really intriguing and I think they look really neat on...
THX AAA 789, CTH Hybrid Amp, Cavallin and more equip have the same common case. Nice abillity for stacking them. Wonder if massdrop could sell only case for diy projects. So diy equip could stack with massdrop made equip.
**If you're interested, please post some ideas for options before poll**
Wanting to know if we in South Africa will ever have the opportunity to buy from your site as there are drops here to make one's jaw drop. Please let us know whats cooking. We are very VERY keen this side of the world. If Austria can have it... that why cant we?
Do you love a simple wrist rest or a custom wrist rest which has both functional and artistic value ? This item is made by hand from high-quality epoxy resin. To make this product more vivid and one-of-a-kind, we meticulously mixed colors and added patterns of katana swords and butterflies. We can change the background color based on the customer's request. So you guys, do you love it ? Can you please tell me your opinion about this wrist rest ?
Howdy folks.
I want to up my music listening game.
Where are the best places, and what are the best methods for me to do so?
A few more questions I have:
Does streaming high quality on Spotify count?
Do I need to use a service like Tidal?
What details should I look for besides the music being "lossless"?
Can I truly get the most out of HiFi music with standard equipment?
There has to be more to this than I realize and I'll put it to you all to let me know.
And if you have links/examples to tracks as well that would be awesome so please share.
🗣THANK-YOU
...what would you choose and why?
Obviously, I'm speaking to those who have multiple headphones. The main rule of this post is that it must be a headphone that you own (bonus points for picture!). Also, in the context of this post, this would be the only headphone you would ever have!
The headphone in question can be of any type: over-ear, on-ear, or IEM.
For me personally, if I was being more rational about it I would pick the Sennheiser HD 6XX for its scalability, versatility (actually makes surprisingly good out-and-about headphones provided you don't mind the open-back), and ability to make everything sound good. However, I just don't love the HD 6XX like I love my LCD-3; its sound just hits all the right buttons for me.
I've been staying at parent's place with this sad little set up and the 🍑 desk mat is getting v dirty -_-
Curious to see what everyone's wfh set up is like... Snap a few photos and share please!
Anyway, hope y'all are staying safe and healthy.

Has Drop become nothing but a keyboard/headphone retail company?
Recently, newsletters have been barely anything but overpriced keyboards and awful-looking keycaps--with the exception of a single knife in each email past a week ago. I feel like this site has entirely lost its roots--and will likely pay for that with their business. It's going to eventually wind up not dropshipping items, which would otherwise pass savings on to customers, and will instead be the sticker store of keycaps.
I'll admit, sure, the majority of the userbase probably doesn't mind the fact that you've moved to be a purveyor of only that type of product, but it doesn't make much sense to eliminate the rest of your would-be customers. You could only stand to lose in terms of potential profit with the business model Drop has had in the past; i.e not putting in an order if a product doesn't receive enough interest. To be perfectly honest, I'm shocked that this even has to be said.
Reducing types of products on the site means reduced web traffic; reduced web traffic...
