What's your most wanted camera?
As you've read the title, what's your most wanted/dream camera, ignoring the funds. One camera you could pick, what will it be? state it, and drop a image/photo and or video link of it. Include lens too to go with the camera, just one. For ...
You're new to photography: grab the a6000. It's got everything you need to get started. The EVF is incredible, it shoots beautiful video, and, very important, you're not throwing down as much cash to check out the Sony system while picking up a fantastic piece of hardware. The kit lens is just ok. I saved my pennies and got the Sony 35mm <https://www.sony.com/electronics/camera-lenses/sel35f18>. It takes advantage of the a6000 like nothing...

LZ A4 IEM
Im fairly certain Xlinix FPGAs are far more powerful than anything from AKM, Burr Brown/Ti, ESS, or any of the others. It definitely sounds far cleaner(actually it encodes poorly DSD to PCM and it is inferior in DSD to the iDSD(and the iDSD was cheaper till I found the deal(I now wish I studied the tech of the mojo before I got the iDSD but at that time I was not willing to spend 600 on a dac/amp but once I had the iDSD found out about the...
Gemtune ST-608 12x32 Digital Camera Binoculars
I picked up the X220 a few months back as my first real quadcopter and am having an awesome time with it. I did quite a bit of research and this is hands down, the best bang for your buck at this price point. I also bought a Walkera Rodeo 150- I can't stress enough how the performance drop off from the X220 to the Rodeo 150 is huge even though the price difference is only like $30. Out of the box, you have everything you need to have a lot...
5 Most Important Features for a Backpacking Camera
[image] Alert! as a backpacker you are not well served by mainstream camera reviews like DPReview. That is, the 5 Most Important Features for a Backpacking Camera are quite different than those for a general use camera in mainstream reviews....
Doesn't have to be.... I went with my choice of Sony simply because I find the features to be very high marks from the reviews out there and more accessible price-point. And I do use Sony cameras for that same high quality and being able to afford much much more ... With the right couple of adaptors, you can use most of the fine lenses available, which may truly be the more important aspect of how images get to the back of the camera anyway....
Why not a sale/trade hub?
I would not mind trading stuff with other enthusiasts via a hub for that... Not sure about the legal ramifications for Massdrop, but a person-to-person trade post/bulletin board would be awesome! Any thoughts?

When I first dived into film - I found a point & shoot Canon 85 zoom for $12 and used a $3 roll of Color Plus 200 I didn't want to spend too much on my first endeavor. However Processing + Scanning (if you choose to not do it yourself) will add...
