Benchmade Knives?
Does anybody know why there has not been any drops for Benchmade knives (at least not any recently)? I see polls on them constantly.

Massdrop x Tashi Bharucha Prism Folding Knife
@JonasHeineman, I think Bob Loveless used 154CM not ATS-34 for all the reasons you stated. In the early 1990’s this was the top premium steel and was useful in small and large blades. It took a great cutting edge at high hardness, which is a top priority in small knives. Benchmade and others took it on as their top steel offering. When Crucible stopped making it, Hitachi‘s copy, ATS-34, became the ‘go-to-steel’. Damasteel made their copy,...

Spyderco Para 3 Lightweight Folding Knife
I was one of the pre-order buyers. I like the Spyderco Para 3 Lightweight (LW), though you may not like the construction choices. It is clear that Spyderco put some thought about the production costs and factored that into the product design. Though the Para 3 LW is open back, the standoffs are molded into the Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon (FRN) scales. HK AXIS Mini Folder
There's no lanyard hole, I have the brown plain edge version as my EDC knife. This was my first experience with D2, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Came from Benchmade at almost consistent 30 degrees inclusive angle which made sharpening a breeze. (I always reprofile all my blades to 30 inclusive) D2, while hard as hell to initially sharpen, will keep that edge for a long time. Any dulling can be fixed with a leather strop and some...

Benchmade Knives?
Late reply, but you ought to take them up on their lifetime warranty. From what I understand, it's completely painless: You send them the knife and they rebuild it to work like new, including sharpening, no questions asked. They'll go so far as to replace the blade itself if needed. I haven't used the warranty yet, but I can confirm from working with them on some custom laser-etching that their customer service is fantastic. A big part of what...

Knife Sharpening
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could recommend me either a sharpening kit or stone(s) for sharpening some of the tougher steels like S30V, 20CV etc. I already have a lansky deluxe 5 stone kit but would like to go a little higher in grits...
