Had this lens when I first started with a Canon t2i, was pretty pleased for what it was, just fine for daily walk-around use.

Judging by the camelcamelcamel data, Amazon has dropped their price specifically to match this drop--so if anyone is thinking they can just pick it up from Amazon at that price at any time, think again.

You should mention that this is an EF-S mount and will not fit on canon full frame cameras

Since its still not right in the description... This is an EF-S mount, not an EF mount lens. Any references to EF in the description should be changed to EF-S to reflect the fact that this lens only works on crop bodies.
That said, this is a really nice lens for the money insofar as it is incredibly flexible. Its my go-to travel lens when I'm packing light

OHennBut it is an EF mount lens. EF have the red dot and EF-S have the white square. The thing is that lenses with the EF-S mount are solely designed for APS-C sensor cameras as you suggest, but EF mount lenses work with both APS-C and full frame cameras. Now, being able to put it on a full frame camera does not mean it was designed for it, but it will fit the mount. Also, not to rain on this drop, but on Sigma's website, this lens, refurbished, comes out to $279 with free ground shipping at least to my location. I wonder if buying a refurb'd lens would be that bad... If you wanted it brand new, and reaaaally wanted it sooner, directly from Sigma, it would be $299 with $5 shipping, so even if the lowest price was unlocked, you'd save about $10, but with Massdrop there will be a delay of two weeks for shipping, so yeah, you could go to Sigma and spend $10 extra if you really wanted this lens sooner. By the end of this drop you might as well just get it from here.
