Here's the thing - paying that sort of $ for a shirt is ok, of it's a good shirt (Gitman, APC, Acne, etc). I own an 18 Waits shirt, got it @ Uncle Otis in TO. Not only is the cut "weird" to say the least, the quality is weak to say the least. Don't bother unless the price is around $45.

DetroitSelvageManHe's pretty spot on unfortunately. There are brands dedicated to capitalizing on gimmics and hipster interest by trying to seem unique and specializing in quality.
