does the price increase from the last drop? if so, whyy??
Did that include the m15 apex module as well?
yes of course.. got m15 and m20
if somebody wants to sell his U4-SE under 450, shoot me a pm. the price increase really bothers me.
$50 shouldn't make or break your purchase of these. They're phenomenal.
how's the technicality of these compared to Earsonic ES-3 if you may add? or anything in this price range
It's a matter of principle for me. Knowing I could have paid $449 instead of $499 just really irks me. $50 may not make or break me, but it's still an 11% jump.
I can't speak to the ES-3's but I do have a set of Earsonic SM-64's and these U4's are much more clear, particularly in the low end. The SM-64's are a touch more muddy down low.
do these match well with Chord Mojo? and I would like to know the possibility of using these directly to my iPhone 6 incase the mojo runs out of juice.
are you trolling?
impedence = 12 ohms.
anything will drive these with ease, you'll get better clarity from your mojo though.
lol nah, dude. I just want to know if there is a severe drop in SQ or change in sound signature when they're plugged directly to a cellphone. Also, Mojo is a tad warm, so I'm hoping it doesn't alter the sound that much.
I've used these with my iPhone 7, Oppo HA-2, and Creative X7, and the only noticeable difference as you go up in output power is the sound grows fuller and fuller. However, these still sound fine out of the phone. You may have to EQ them up a bit to reach a sound sig that works for you.
Also, some fellow audiophiles have suggest that multiple BA IEM's prefer lower R-out amps, but I have not noticed any degradation in sound quality among the sources I mentioned.
