Hi all, was a pretty happy camper with those until one side broke down. I contacted 1More in EMEA (I live in France). They gave me instructions to return the IEM to the UK and then... got my box back as they refused delivery. This is just insane. So either their RMA process is crap or they simply don't hold to their warranty responsibility. I will certainly not buy again from 1More and would advise you not to buy either.

I reviewed the Triple driver model a while back, good value for money if you are looking for a smooth and laid back sound signature: http://www.soundperfectionreviews.com/2016/07/review-1more-e1001-triple-driver-hybrid.html

Is this price for both the triple and quad together? Because the triple's are $70 at Costco.

This doesn’t seem like a great deal. They are the same price at Costco.

Does anyone know how these would compare with the Shure SE215s?

I find that human voices sound very good on these. If you don't have a pair already I would recommend the triple drivers for this price.

VerumI feel like this are not worth the price. You can get much more bang for buck from some other Chinese earphones for half the price. There are some cheap dual driver hybrids out like blumuze on amazon, the silver ones aka e-mi CI880 Hybrid. They have great soundstage! Insane value.
Same with the shure's too. There are nicehck bro or tennmak pro with swappable mmcx cable (just like the shure's have) and nicehck makes a bluetooth mmcx cable too. And the shure's are only single driver. If you wanted a micro driver there are earphones like MEMT x5 for example.
For half the price of these also check out the bosshifi b3 hybrid driver which feature wood construction and have good mids. Similar to these would be urbanfun hybrid driver ear phones.
For around same price as these triples (cheaper actually at $65) check out the LZ such as LZ A2S ear phone which is even on amazon. Pretty much anything from LZ is worth way more than it costs. The LZ A4 was just on here and it was a great deal for what it was and almost no one purchased it (they make like two a day by hand apparently).
For around $100 you can get awesome in ears like Magaosi K3 or H3 (double vs triple drivers).
Also If you have an amp check out the kz zs5 quad drivers!!

How does the soundstage of the triple stand? Can it withstand sweat?

Yep, I agree. I can get a bit wider soundstage through the Schiit Fulla 2, currently the only amp I own because money lol. But yeah, for the purposes of this discussion I assumed with phone only. OP mentioned sweat so I assume they wanted it for the gym.

TanvirK175For what it's worth, I get quite a nice, wide soundstage on these with my LG V20 even compared to my desktop DAC - there are phones out there that can drive these quite nicely, is what I mean.

How do these triples compare to the Klipsch X11i that are on massdrop right now for $80?? I know the Klipsch are more comfortable but what about sound quality? Cheapest Klipsch X11i I see online are like $199 or $90 for the x11 non i version plus the retail price when the X11i came out in like 2014 were a ridiculous $350 lol

RareAirsI own both the X11 (without the remote) and the triples. I think highly of both, and I think they're both at a sound quality level where whichever one fits your use case would probably be the factor to decide by, rather than sound differences. With the qualification that, when it comes to descriptive audiophilia, I'd be more like a backup shortstop than the cleanup hitter, I'd say that the triples have more of a V shape than the Klipsch, with resonant bass that's almost but not quite boomy, and gets tamer with the right tips. I think the X11 takes the nod slightly in balance and clarity, and has a slight elevation in the bass that I could also see being a matter of taste for some. I would put both of them in the "fun sounding" rather than analytical category. I just don't think it's the kind of thing where you would hear the other one later and kick yourself because it sounds so much better. For what it's worth, if I had to pick one of the two drops based on my experience with them, I'd go with the Klipsch for the non-sound factors of comfort, design, and discount vs. the general market.

The Triples were one of my earlier "audiophile" purchases, and one of the few from that period that I still like and use regularly. I think they sound great and deserve the praise they receive (can't speak to the mic, as I don't use it). My only mild complaint was that the tips didn't really work that well for me, comfort and isolation-wise, but that's a personal thing. They still sounded great, though, and I was recently able to fix the fit issue with some tips from a set of BrainWavs IEMs in an MD Blue Box that I didn't care for. So I can easily recommend them on their sound quality.
However, again speaking just to the Triples, I don't think this is one of the better deals MD has offered. This is the everyday price at Costco Online and you also get their outstanding return policy (granted, you need a membership) . They occasionally put them on sale with an instant rebate, where you can pick them up for $65. Amazon's regular price is close enough that it's not too hard to justify getting them in a couple days for a few dollars more. So, great headphones, mediocre price on this one.
