Well, I don't know how I managed to screw this up, but I did. By the time I got done threading the cable through the sleeve, a good five inches of the four inner wires were sticking out of the end of the rubber coating, and the cable doesn't work anymore. The pc makes a sound like it's recognizing something being plugged in, but less than a second later it says there's a malfunction. Not to mention the arthritic pain of an hour of pushing cable through sleeve.
Oh well, at least it makes a pretty pile.
So after struggling for ages with the paracord, I was able to complete my first cable. The paracord ended up being somehow shorter than the actual cable due to all the inching across (more like millimeters at a time). Not only that, but it doesn't work. Not sure whats wrong with it. The pc beeps like it seems something but is otherwise unrecognizable. It also can't function as a charger cord either.
Decided to try my 2nd cord I ordered. Struggled to creep the cable through the paracord over the next 4 painful hours. Started to assemble it. Then I realized the kit I was sent was for a USB Mini instead of USB Micro. As I have no devices that uses Mini, this makes my 2nd kit also useless.
Contacting support for assistance, but overall very dissapointed.
