How this compares to ultrapod mini? I use Ultrapod mini with my mirrorless Sony Nex-6 with 50mm f/1.8 and it works fine. 47 grams (measured) and is really, really small. Allows portrait and landscape orientations.

I wonder if this can support my X-Pro2 in portrait position. My Manfrotto PIXI Mini doesn't have the notch to allow portrait orientation.

Thanks so much for the info and pic! I figured an L-bracket might be the way to go. I like traveling light with my 5L Sling from Peak Design so these mini tripods are almost perfect.

I bought one of these directly from 3 Legged Thing. It's a good little tripod that's easy to carry in a small bag. It's best used for phones and GoPro cameras as they show in their photo and here in my photo of my Iggy and my GoPro5. I personally recommend it.

Yes, you twist the orange ring around the ball head and it tightens the threaded mount.
