As described, a little heavier than expected, despite the fact that the net weight was published in the drop. No complaints, as good as any 3 legged thing tripod to grab on the go and dont worry to much

As a travel tripod, the Patti Flip-Lock is great. I travel a bit in my line of work, and use this tripod regularly for photography. I mainly take interior photos with long exposure times, along with a bit of product photography. So what are the Pro's and Cons of this Tripod? Pros: It's light, compact, feature rich, locks work, comes with a camera tool, travel bag for both tripod & ball-head mount, set up is fast, and price. Cons: Slight camera shift before everything is locked down, extreme zoom will show slight vertical axis wobble, legs don't fold up neatly into the closed position due to the nobs on the ball head getting in the way. So the cons really aren't that bad. The leg issue hitting the ball head is an OCD issue since it comes with a protective bag, the slight camera shift can be compensated for and the vertical wobble is only noticeable at high magnifications when you let go of your camera. How high of a magnification you ask? Well... I attached my telescope to this tripod and used an adapter to mount my camera to the telescope and the math works out to roughly 32x magnification without an eyepiece in the telescope. Neat! Over all I am happy with this purchase. For me, this is all that I need. Below is an example of what this tripod can do. Taken with 10 sec. of exposure ISO100 1.75 Aperture @ roughly 5 feet away. I'd say each pendant is about the size of a dime.

I'd say the tripod works pretty well considering I had a dog running around the apartment when the photo was taken. If you're looking for a general use tripod that travels well and sets up fast, well... its hard to beat this one.

Very sturdy tripod. Flexible with 3 leg angles, removable center column, small ball head. Great value for the money.
