A Ring for Every Occasion
1.5 mm: Most O-rings are this size. They won’t do much to affect travel distance, but they will reduce noise.
2 mm: For people who want less key travel and quieter keys.
2.5 mm: For people who want significantly reduced key travel and slightly more sound-dampening.
3 mm: Not recommended for Cherry/OEM/keycaps without beams, as these may shorten travel distance so much that keystrokes won’t register. These are for people with DSA/SA keycaps with no beams.
