To summarize of the sound of 64 Audio Nio, the overall sound is very good, the bass is powerfully balances, high resolutions, and the treble is delicate and does not stick for my ear, so it feels pretty good.
The Abalone shell style of the face plate is also very cool !
A lot of reviews for the Nio reference that it’s a bass head IEM, however, I find them to be quite balanced with the the standard modules in place. The bass is deep, but it’s textured and detailed, not boomy. The only issue I have is that they can get a bit unclear with really treble-heavy tracks. That aside, they’re surprisingly wide for IEMs. They’re detailed, but not to the extent that they’re fatiguing. They’re not even close to a reference sound, but they’re incredibly musical and just fun to listen to.
