For anyone that's looking for IEM around this price range UM Universal MEST heres a link https://shop.musicteck.com/collections/um-unique-melody/products/um-universal-mest?variant=32537938788414 It's probably the safer bet, though I don't own them yet they seem to perform pretty well, look up reviews if you're unsure about them I recommend you watch The Headphone Show review of them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyPiXV_bAV8

xxruneI prefer mest but havent heard the trio in a while. I thought the trio had a dip in the mids.

asdfasdfafhgahYeah, um mest is also weak in the mids based on what I've heard, but other than that, it doesn't have any other weaknesses, plus it has a Bone Conduction Driver, not something you see often, just because of that I'm getting it

xxruneMest has really nice mids, nice dynamics. sometimes you want a little more bite but it depends on the song. I really like mest. Just make sure you get a deep fit.

xxruneJust bought and got the UM Mest, and I've been comparing the dt 880 600 ohm version against them, I must say I gotta give the win to the UM Mest for soundstage and clean bass, treble is the only place the dt 880 600 ohm may be on par, though if i could get dekoni bulletz to see if i could get a better fit, my answer might change
