I own both the NES30 and the SNES30 gamepads from 8Bitdo, and I've never had a problem with either. Both feel EXTREMELY faithful to the original Nintendo controllers (aside from the 2 additional face buttons and shoulder buttons on the NES30 obviously), the build quality is incredible, and they work with everything I've thrown at them.
That being said, I am a bit put off by the sudden partnership with Retro-Bit, as I've never been too impressed by their USB recreations. Because of this, I'm going to wait until the controller is released and I can read up on a few reviews before spending $50 on a controller that I'd probably only use for a handful of games.
I'm hopeful though, since I've always been a fan of the N64 controller.
Also hoping for an 8Bitdo Gamecube replica sometime down the road, assuming this is on par with their previous products.
Edit: Decided the $15 price drop was worth it. Worst case scenario, I get a N64 controller for PC.
