Made with a PVD-coated stainless steel case and sapphire crystal, this timepiece is ready for rough outings. And while the case is impressive, the dial may be even more so. The indices and hands feature tubes filled with tritium: a self-powered isotope of hydrogen that glows in the dark for up to 25 years. The tubes shed light on large Arabic numerals that scale all the way to 24 hours (for those who prefer military time). Powering the watch? A Swiss gold-plated Ronda quartz battery with a 10-year battery life. With its 4 o’clock crown and comfortable nylon band, the A-5S Ballista is easy to wear and water resistant down to 200 meters to boot.
