Music has come a long way from the rudimentary strings and skins we used to pluck and play, but to make a smooth transition from analog to digital music-making, you’ll need the right equipment. A fully operational device that lets you tweak every part of the sound and song, the Ableton Push Controller puts the power of an electronic orchestra at your fingertips.

Push It to the Limit
Using the 64 velocity and pressure-sensitive pads, you can play live beats and zip between scales without stretching across the table, thanks to the condensed formation. Depending how you strike each pad, and for how long, the Push responds with different actions. For example, you can hold down a pad to repeat notes in time with your track, all while you adjust the swing or repeat divisions in real time. You can also play step sequence beats, adjust loops, or simply play along with the colored panels detailing other notes in the same scale. Make It Live
When you need to switch sounds or kits, the eight encoders at the top let you easily change your instrument without breaking your focus. To keep track of your parameters, a four line LCD display rests right above. Connecting easily to your computer, the Ableton Push Controller is powered by Live 9, Ableton’s own music software. You can jam out on the controller alone, then turn to your computer and find all of your tracks ready and waiting to be further refined in Live. On this drop, we are including an Intro version of Live 9, which comes with three instruments and over 700 sounds.
