Just received it today. A little disappointed that this happen. I tried it out, and I liked the sound, but it sounded a little bit unbalanced maybe due to this issue.

Fox2twentyI'm not so sure what's the difference between U and V shaped sound, but I'll say the sound signature is more bassy and leaning towards the V shaped sound.
