So first things first. Yes the UI is primitive and a pain to use. At 8 hours, the battery life could be a lot better. For the life of me, I don't know why they (AR) can't seem to give this DAP a firmware update that fixes the relatively infrequent crashes. Additionally, I haven't had the shuffling issue that others are seeming to have so there's that. Other than that, I am really enjoying this DAP. The sound is Crystal clear and this little guy can pump out a lot of power. The Bluetooth works and sounds great (ATPx HD). For $100, this isn't a bad option for a Bluetooth audio receiver and/or edc DAP. I will update my review if any other issues arise. Fingers crossed.

TraidHow do you feel it compares to the Radsone ES100 Bluetooth receiver? Because at $100, they’re suddenly comparable. I bet the Radsone’s app is better (more EQ controls), and obviously the AR has the ability of standalone playback, but I wonder which wins on sound quality?

EvshrugI don't have any experience with the Radsone ES100 but there is no doubt in my mind that UI completely overshadows the M200's. As for the sound quality.. the M200's sound signature still produces one of the clearest and well rounded listening experiences I have ever experienced at the price range. Battery life is subpar but I usually leave it plugged in as a Bluetooth receiver. Having an option to use it as a DAP is nice, but the UI kind of discourages me from using it that way. However, for $99 it's versatility as both a APT-X HD bluetooth receiver and a class A DAP is quite the bargain in my opinion.
TraidThe Radsone is only a Bluetooth receiver. Isn’t there a remote-control app for the M200, where you can see the songs stored in the player and control playback from your phone? I hear that’s the “only” way to use this.

EvshrugHuh. This is news to me. Is there an android app? I can't seem to find anything on it.
TraidHmm, they may have taken it down. It appears as if the only current AR product are some wireless garden speakers.
