Does this come with a DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable or DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort? Also I see it says like 100 times that it can't do HDMI, does that also mean it can't use a DisplayPort to HDMI converter? Just curious.
laxalootWhere do you plan on finding a DisplayPort to HDMI converter? The signals are completely different you would need pretty much an entire controller board designed just to input Displayport and redraw to HDMI.
laxalootAs I posted on page 2 it comes with a white DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort cable. The port on the back of the display is full sized DisplayPort.
This is a nice little monitor, the only thing I really don't like about it is the driver board is a little too dumb and can't detect when there is no signal so it doesn't shut off the backlight. To extend the life of your display you will need to manually shut off the backlight when not in use.
My crappy desk.

Starting to wonder if I have ever posted without uploading a pic of something.
NaedI'm sorry but both of you need to read again.
This display is DP input.
So it needs to be fed DisplayPort.
You are posting a link to a DP2HDMI conv, which takes the DP from your source and makes it HDMI for your monitor.
DP++ also carries HDMI signal on its cable, so this is NOT converting, but adapting.Like DVI-D to HDMI.
chzelI know :)
I was merely giving a (hopefully) helpful link to a person who did not seem to know that adapters like that existed :)
I was not commenting on the "correctness" of looking for one :)
