tantrisIm pretty sure USB 3.0 is backwards compatable with 2.0. Your SSD just won’t be able to run at near it’s full speed.
Edit: Mine just arrived and it is listed as backward compatable with USB 2.0 on the packaging.
tantrisUSB 3.1 is compatable with 2.0 ports. As long as you have USB 2.0 or higher you should be able to use it. However, it will be slower due to USB 2.0 being older and slower.
