Featuring an advanced 3D MLC NAND flash and a high-speed SMI controller, the SU900 is more efficient and reliable than 2D NAND SSD drives. The intelligent SLC caching algorithm allows the flash memory to operate in single-level cell mode and boost the read/write performance, while the DRAM cache buffer effectively doubles the read/write performance. An LDPC (low-density parity check) error-correcting code is embedded to help reduce data errors and increase data integrity. To ensure effective performance throughout its lifespan, the drive has a high TBW (total bytes written) and a random R/W speed that’s designed to last nearly 2 million hours.
