These aren't recognized by my Mac or my PC. ADATA recovery software says the serial number is invalid? Shall I just take a hammer to these 4 I just received?

If for whatever reason someone out there desperately needs one of these, but not four, Newegg is currently having a sale on these, individually, for $3.99US (16gb), $12.99US (32gb (not on sale)), $8.99US (64gb) and $16.99US (128gb). But judging by the reviews, they probably arent worth the trouble...

These are pretty slow. Might as well be USB 2. Took a while to just benchmark them. Testing was done on my Threadripper 2950x with X399 Fatal1ty board. They were plugged into the USB 3.2 Gen 2 port ( Says USB 3.1 Gen 2 on the board, which is now called USB 3.2 Gen 2. It's the 10Gbps port. ) 41MB/s average read speed 17.5MB/s average write speed

duncanyoyo117.5m/s write speed?? As always with USB sticks, they're not even close to the interface speed. They are definitely not worth it.

Why is this Drop not Available for Canadian? I don't see any reason why it would be like that... Can anyone offer some Insight, or maybe a similar deal for Storage, which I am lacking...just lost a 4TB Hard Disk Drive because of a fall...lost ALL my Movies and TV Shows Collection as well as all my personal files like Resumes and Pictures, not to mention my Huge Music Collection that I've been building for over 15 Years... Cheers!

Potvin.FI'm not a data storage expert, but I wouldn't use a thumb drive for archival storage of your valued files.  You need something more reliable.  I would use a portable hard drive for backup, and also add remote storage to that for your purposes.  If you have movies, television shows, and a large music collection, you need to invest in redundant backup storage capabilities to prevent such a massive loss from happening again.

Potvin.FThere is a chance you can retrieve some of your lost data. There are recovery services that can deconstruct dead hard drives. Also, you may want to invest in an upload service like SpiderOak.

*So this is currently a 'common' shared sale\deal that other websites have- Massdrop should review spending their energy and resources on 'common' sales like this since Massdrop has a built-in - Self Inflicted Handicap on their sales, in this case 'Estimated ship date is Mar 20, 2019 PT.' - When newegg has same exact deal at this time, (minus fact 32Gb is not in stock and 128Gb is not showing on sale- but is only a few dollars difference anyway) and Ships MUCH quicker. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16820215203 Here is my Prior review of information available. " So this might be brand new generation or iteration of this product since it is very recent on Adata website and has recent updated information from Jan of this year and datasheets are also recent, 5 Year Warranty is nice to see, even though if you need to claim it in 4.5 years these will by penny's by then :p So many storage manufactures have been reducing warranty in recent years claiming they have better reliability - which was always crazy the disconnect they were saying, at least to me. https://www.adata.com/us/specification/506 https://www.adata.com/us/faq/506 https://www.adata.com/upload/downloadfile/Datasheet-UV320_20190121.pdf
WarrantyStarting from January 1, 2019, the warranty period for the UV320 is changed to 5 years; For UV320s purchased before (inclusive) December 31, 2018, the warranty period remains unchanged.

Yeah I've used some of the older 3.1 adata usbs and they're definitely very slow. If someone has these and wants to benchmark them I'm certainly also curious if they bothered changing anything but the case.

Terrible deal. Can buy on Newegg for $3.99 each (cheaper than this drop).

No, Newegg is selling the exact same model as Massdrop. Massdrop should do more due diligence before putting out a "deal" that is actually more expensive than we can find with a quick google search. And to top it off, you have to wait a month to get the deal. This deal should be pulled imo. No deal to be found here.

Sperry8Ah I see what you are talking about now, same exact model UV320 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16820215200 But 32GB is out of stock, 128GB version not on sale but is in stock. I don't know why you sound so angry towards Massdrop though, All manufactures have sales packages that they offer, sometimes to multiple outlets at same price\deal - at least this is equal price to Newegg. - However I do agree that Massdrop joining the same type of deal you can get at other websites - with Massdrop Penalty\Self Handicap of time- Delayed shipping of weeks, vs most sites shipping within day or two. If Massdrop joins a 'Common' sale, they should work out 'Common' shipping methods for Massdrop members. Otherwise it is a waste of their time since members would just go to other normal vendors for same product\deal and faster shipping.
