I had found out that I wasn't going to save too much money just buying the 1t stick, but I like to support smaller online stores like this. I didn't think to look elsewhere, but the stick is exactly what I was looking for. Also it's awesome to have doubled my storage capacity with a very capable M.2 drive.

Well I ordered the 2tb one and it is a steal at 250 with free shipping and no tax. The prices on the 2tb SSDs has shot up to the high 300 to low 400 range. Thanks massdrop!!!

(Mass)Drop lost its way, for this drop to be acceptable, it should be like $120 to $130 for 1tb, instead, the price is as high or higher than other retailers.
This is not the first time I see this here, I think you lost me, I think I'm unsubscribing to the pc gaming part of this site.

Another massdrop disappointment.... its cheaper on Amazon and even on Newegg too (depending on size).
Why are these drops even offered? Maybe for international customers? But even then people typically have to pay import tax and high shipping costs..... so I really see no purpose in most of these sales today...

Jimster480Import tax, Toll fee and we have to pay the shipping company for tolling it last time i ordered something i cost $60 just in fees before a 25% VAT. Generally it needs to be a LOT cheaper to make sense for most Europeans.

- 512GB is on Amazon for $73 right now, compared to $80 here.
- 1TB is on Amazon for $140 right now, compared to $150 here.

FloppieJust to point out the obvious, this is no longer MassDrop, it's just Drop now. In other words, MD gave up on the idea of trying to negotiate lower prices by buying in bulk, this model has failed about 2 years ago. Just read up on their rebranding announcement. Otherwise, agreed, MD has lost its way and I have not idea why the heck they are trying to overprice their offerings. I guess they rely on the old adage "a fool is born every minute", or they are just desperate for money.

AnzialSo, they're just going to be another Amazon except instead of two day shipping you get two month shipping and essentially no warranty to speak of. Oh, that sounds like a MUCH better model than bulk buying. So much better that it won't take nearly as long for this model to fail....
The New (not improved) Drop -- kind of like a garage sale where the pricing sucks and they offer way more junk than stuff that people actually want. Did you miss a particular drop?.....no worries...it's coming back next week, and the week after that, and then again the week after that.

for 150$ , this isn't a good deal because amazon offer it for 139$ AND it ships much quicker from Adata too.
Since the change of your branding from massdrop.com to drop.com, I rarely see a good discount to be honest.
You do have great products like the Halo Panda switches and the HD6xx but I think the site turned to be just another online store and not a site to find discounts AT ALL.

I'm glad m.2 NVMe drives are much cheaper now, but I need a 2tb m.2 SATA drive. Found out that my 2x m.2 slot Predator Helios 500 only supports one of each, and not 2x NVMe, otherwise it just won't boot.
But nobody but WD makes them anymore. I want 2TB to maximize that slot since my boot drive is a 2tb NVMe drive and my 3.5" bay is also 2TB. 6tb in a laptop would be reduculously awesome anyway.
