There’s nothing quite like the smell and taste of fresh garlic, which is why it’s so widely used in many types of cooking. With this cutter, you won’t have to painstakingly cut clove after clove with your paring knife, but rather pop it into the device and press the button Read More

No offence Massdrop but what are we supposed to do... guess at how this thing works? Please stop posting products if you aren't going to provide proper information and photos on use.
In addition to this this "cutter" looks more like a mincer than a cutter... of course I can't be sure since the photos don't show it in use.

this device is impossible to clean. garlic is antibacterial so it's not a huge deal but i was still surprised how many bits get stuck in the cutting grate

Some impressions in case the drop goes live again: Operation and results are pretty much how one may imagine it from the pictures. Put in garlic, press the top and get your very own garlic sticks. Cut the sticks again if you want it chopped. It isn't however as hassle-free as it looks if you want to chop down just one or two cloves. The plastic press doesn't go close enough to the blades and, as a result, the sticks hang in there and you need to scrape them off. Cleaning might also occasionally require a toothpick for stuck garlic bits.
All in all it's a hell lot easier and faster than chopping garlic yourself, particularly if you cut a lot of garlic at once.

I would've loved some pictures of dead garlics for proof of concept.

fusuyAh! Fabulous. Well frankly, it looks less than impressive in action (my imagination had it cutting much more spectacularly). Thanks anyway!
