World-Class Conversion, Versatile Connectivity

An updated version of RME’s ADI-2 AD/DA converter, the ADI-2 Pro FS R Black Edition takes conversion and connectivity to new levels. Handling analog-to-digital conversion, two servo-balanced inputs on combo XLR / TRS jacks run through RME’s redesigned analog circuit, capturing audio with exceptional clarity and making the ADI-2 Pro a formidable recording tool. For digital-to-audio conversion, AKM’s AK4493 chip delivers sample rates up to 768 kilohertz, plus DSD and Direct DSD playback. Connect two headphones at once, and use the ADI-2 Pro as a headphone amplifier while monitoring parameters through a high-resolution display. State-of-the-art SteadyClock FS technology reduces clock jitter to a femtosecond, and THD stays at -100 decibels, no matter what’s connected. Onboard optical S/PDIF inputs and outputs also accommodate ADAT and AES signals, while tools for M-S processing, stereo width, phase reversal, and more make it a studio-grade mixing and mastering solution.
