I got a similarly designed bag in China. Same zippered mesh pocket under the lid and material and backpack straps. The straps are not easy to install and remove, and although I leave one installed and one inside I have yet to use it like a backpack. Mine is smaller and makes a great overnight bag, except that it doesn't much for organizing small items.
I'm looking for a duffle to protect my backpack and gear as checked luggage.
Still on the fence.
