Received these today. Already have a pair of the Rooth plugs. Fun fact- when one takes the element out "Rooth" is stamped on the back. They appear to be completely isolating despite being the 23 dB model. Can't hear a thing with them in. If you're looking for total silence it's cheaper to buy a $5 pack of foam ear plugs. Love the cylindrical case tho. I bought these based on glowing reviews here. Either my hearing is very odd or....

Interceptor6923dB is ideal to use in a high noise environment such as live concert or construction site. Also keep in mind everyone has different ears and hears differently. Bummer it didn't work out well for you.

scuttsThe good news is they work great for motorcycle riding which is the reason I bought them. But I can't hear anyone speaking to me in a normal tone of voice tho.
