After using them for a few days its apparent they are way under priced. Genuinely. Plugging them into my Razer Blade 15, which has a mediocre Dac at best, they sound very good for $25. After plugging them into my FiiO K3, they sound FANTASTIC for $25, these headphones really love power. Playing some MW you have excellent stereo positioning and bass isolation. Who would have thought, two drivers are better then one. I've even started daily driving them over my Galaxy Buds. All in all they are an excellent pair of IEMs for the price. I would highly recommend them for Gamers or even someone looking for there first IEMs. Quick side note, microphone is also pretty solid, no echo or much background noise.

More than I expected
They are a little base heavy but very fun to listen to. If you don't have a way to Ballance your EQ they may be a little rough in a FPS but for everything else they have been a blast. The microphone is amazing. Maybe better than the drop gaming mic that you attach to your headphones. I have both. If you intend to use these on your PC you will need to spend $7 on a splitter. This will cause a little buzz in the headphones due to the lack of dedicated ground. But even then it isn't bad. This may also not be an issue if your using onboard sound I have not tried that.

Almost perfect for frequent business travelers
In the Before Time I used to travel for work frequently, routinely taking video calls from random airport lounges, coffee shops, taxi back seats, etc. My wishlist has long been to have one travel-friendly headset to meet both work and play use cases. I've spent way, way too much time and energy testing every permutation and combination of devices you can imagine:
  • VOIP headsets are great for conferencing, but ridiculous for entertainment. Models from Jabra and Plantronics made for open offices pretend to be cool but aren't
  • Gaming headsets are not to be worn in public. Just no.
  • Old school Bluetooth headsets are unreliable and offer mediocre audio quality all around
  • Trucker headsets like the BlueParrott have great voice quality in noisy locations, but come on
  • Neckband headphones and pure wireless buds don't have good enough mics for taking calls in noisy environments (no matter how fancy the mic array and firmware), plus many that I've tried have terrible audio latency issues
  • My trusty Bose QC35 came closest - well documented advantages for travel, and I found a 3rd party cable that added a boom mic in wired mode. Score! Except they take up a lot of room, so on short trips I often left them at home in favor of fitting all my stuff into a single bag. Plus with that boom mic it does start to look like a gaming headset
  • Basic earbuds with inline mics work fine, but you end up cupping the mic to your face with your hand in noisy locations; you look like you really enjoy sniffing your breath
  • Separate IEMs and mics give you the potential for best overall sound quality, at the expense of being complex and difficult to use spontaneously (I've tried dedicated Bluetooth amps with MEMS mics, built-in array mics on laptops, mini USB mics, even a ModMic... but where do you stick it? Don't answer that.)
Which brings me to these. On paper they are almost perfect for my needs, given the removable boom mic and compact in-ear design. Only wishlist item would be wireless connectivity with high quality low latency codec support. Hoping for a V2. You'll notice I have only talked about features so far and not sound quality. Sound quality is... acceptable. Bass-forward, a bit muddy, but certainly good enough to be my only headphones in my travel scenario. I can't comment on how well they block out jet noise yet, will have to update this review after the apocalypse.

Compact and great for Skype and Zoom.
Initially hesitant but realizing that for its price, its a pretty good steal. Sound quality is exceptionally good for $25, compared to the crap I've purchased at airports when in need. Most importantly I wanted it to be useful for conference calls. Appears to work very well on both Skype and Zoom calls. The microphone works as expected, doesn't seem to produce any static or distortion on the receiving ends. Its also removable and can be packed away in this small black hard case thats provided. Which is a pretty plus given the price. In terms of appearance, the product looks pretty sleek with and without the microphone attached. But usually is the least of my concerns. The removable microphone can bend and twist and stays put. Surprisingly on par or slightly better overall sound and microphone quality compared to the Logitech headset I purchased in March before working remotely. The game changer is the compact size compared to the Logitech, which cannot be folded. The Nismo Jr fits in my front pocket when put away in the case, which is why I'm most impressed with this headset. Good for general music listening. But amazing for a compact headset mic duo on the go. I've already given away the Logitech, but will edit this review if I find any concerns with durability or longevity.

Extremely uncomfortable
I didn't expect much from the sound quality given the fact that these are gaming oriented and inexpensive. I had hoped the mic would be better than my laptop's included mic, but I didn't even get that far. The fit of these in my ear is just abysmal. After no more than 5 minutes my ears are sore and I no longer want to wear them, which even if everything else was stellar, makes them completely unusable for me.

The hard plastic was pushing against my ears when I tried them but I didn't try any tips other than the included ones. I have particularly small ears though now that I think about it, that may be part of the problem

jib9001You didn't point out what's the mic of your laptop tho if it's relevant at this point of the discussion??....and you couldn't pretend to have good sound with no good seal. That's the basic I think in the earphone's world, being a Head-fi or not. And if your ear shape is weird (like mine) you can't be complaining about it honestly. It's not about being for gaming and cheap. I'm so freaking tired of hearing Cheap = bad sound that give me noxious feeling.

Surprisingly decent
Bought these as a bit of a joke, but pleasantly surprised with the result. Sound is meh, a bit bassy, and unfortunately the bass isn't very clean, but they sound very serviceable for the price. Perfectly good for casual listening or light gaming. Comfort is good enough for short sessions. They are a bit too bulky and heavy to sit comfortably for long sessions. That said, I've got some foam ear tips that I tried with them that greatly helped. So comfort isn't a deal breaker. Mic quality is also quite meh, but much better than I expected given the size. Also considerably better than what your standard in-line mic that you get on normal earphones. Overall, it isn't anything particularly incredible, but it's a unique product that does better than I expected from such an odd device.

StorminNorman01As far as foam ear tips - I'm guessing you have Complys? (I haven't seen anyone else sell foam eartips...) - if Complys, which hole size? (e.g. 100/200/300/400/500/etc series)? "ADV" is not listed as a manufacturer on Comply's site. "ADVANCED" is but there's no "Nismo Jr" product.

The Design WORKS - Great Value with Adequate Sound
I was highly skeptical of the boom mic design, and at the low price it was an easy impulse buy. I'm happy to report that the Boom mic concept on these IEMs work - after choosing and fitting the right eartip in order to support itself in your ears properly. The carrying case is a great and high-quality bonus at any price, as is the cable. The mic quality is what I'd describe as more than adequate - it's downright good for gaming over VoIP/Discord, and great for phone calls. At this cost, it appears the sound is the most noticeable compromise, as it's soundstage is narrow and response clearly tuned for heavier bass - this comes off as muddy and lacking in detail to my ears. While these aren't marketed chiefly for music use, I'm a believer that IEMs & headphones that are developed with music in mind can and will work very well for gaming. Nevertheless, at the price they're a good pair of backup IEMs for portable use, gaming while travelling, and for when using a dedicated mic or on/over ear cans aren't the most convenient option.

Worth it considering the price/performance
Using my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 for an initial sound test, they are surprisingly well isolating, comfortable for my ears, and very light-weight. Nice to have some inline controls such as volume control, and the volume slider has just the right resistance, although the cable does feel a bit plastic-y and I would have liked to see a better selection of tips. Great that it comes with a decent case tho. I also tried plugging them into my Liquid Spark and MD THX amp, but found little to no improvement. These should be driven well by most any decent source. Certainly v-shaped in signature, the sound leans a bit on the mid-bass, however tonality is quite well tuned from the hiphip and jazz I've put through it so far. Also used them to game and no complaints from people listening to me via the removable mic, other than my voice sounding a little bit hollow when compared to my Rode mic, but still quite noticeably better then the earbuds that came with my phone. Soundstage is a bit narrow, but overall for the price, I think they would be great as a lan-party headset that can double as a decent commuter earphone between play sessions.

Sound is good. HATE the fit.
So I'm not entirely sure what I expected from a pair of $25 earbuds. I'll say, the sound quality is good. Not anything extremely special, probably more or less on-par with other buds a bit above their price range. The control features seem pretty cool. The small zipper case is quite nice and packaging does make it feel like a fairly premium product. The build quality is a bit lacking, but again, at the price there's not much to complain about. But if you want good build quality and excellent sound in an inexpensive package, get the T2s. The sound quality on the mic is no good. I'm actually surprised at how much worse it is than what you'd expect considering that that's one of the main features of this unit. But the thing I hate about these "IEMs" is that they just DON'T stay in your ear. They're just too bulky and large - at least for my ears. They absolutely refuse to stay and are constantly just loosely hanging in a ready to plop out (and I mean when I'm just sitting watching Youtube videos, not moving around or anything). I really wish they had an earhook or something like other IEMs. Honestly I'd pass on these, I bought them because they looked interesting and were cheap, but honestly not only are they just passable at their price range, they're honestly a bit disappointing for my use case. Save yourself the disappointment and get the Tin Audio T2s or better for a waaay better experience in inexpensive IEMs.
