I just hope i get my camera before 10/29 cause I'm leaving on vacation on the 30th and it would suck if i left with no camera,

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the AEE S70 Waterproof Action Camera and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 10/19.
Rest assured that we we will provide you all with updated information regarding the status of your order throughout the process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 10/23.

They need to stop calling it a waterproof camera. It is not a waterproof camera, it is an action camera that has a separate waterproof housing. Huge difference!
I can't believe no one else has a problem with this.
Otherwise the camera is good.

Hmmm.... I received my package a week or two ago and put it aside since I was so busy. Now I see there's a lot of confusion. So I just checked to see what I got.
Luckily, I was one of the early purchasers, and Massdrop sent me the remote. I'm very happy about that. Thanks, Massdrop, for your integrity and making sure you shipped out what was advertised at the time of purchase.
But I'm confused about the case, as well. Was the black Extreme case ever pictured in the original offer? Even though I received the remote, mine came with the clear 10m case, and not the 100m case.
So either there was never a 100m case on offer (and the written description was and still is incorrect), or there was a black 100m case initially pictured and offered (like how the remote was initially pictured and offered), and I didn't receive that despite being one of the early buyers.
So did anyone receive a black 100m case, or was that never offered at all?
I'm happy enough to have received the remote control, don't get me wrong. Just wondering if I should have received a black 100m case as well.

K.T.NThey pictured the black case and remote at the beginning. After they changed the photo the camera was shown with the clear case. Those of us who opted in early got the remote but not the case. Massdrop support has been silent on the issue after they said they'd look into it. (I emailed them during the last drop) It seems like none of them are reading these comments either otherwise I'd expect they'd correct the error. It's a shame because MD support has been fantastic in all other matters.
Now, even with this being the clear case water proof to 10m, the camera is still a good deal (Amazon lists this as between $219 and $245 USD). Knowing what I now now I'd still purchase the camera. It's been great in my pool and backyard and I'm excited to use it for my next kayak trip .

Since it's a little unclear -- what waterproof housing is included with this, if at all? The 10m or the 100m one?

So the drop is back again. Does it include the 100m diving case or not? I need a guarantee that it is included, otherwise I'll skip.
