My TEAC amp starts developing issue 6 months in, it started with all lights blinking upon turning on the amp, no sound coming out until keep turning on/off few times and finally working normal until next power on. After that it randomly not working (lights blinking), took the amp to authorize dealer to get it fixed, now it has been 4 weeks sitting there, dealer told me they have to ship it's board from Japan....WTF. They quoted me 6-8 weeks turn around, instead of replacing the unit. With this kind of service, sadly this would be my last TEAC brand.

My volume knob gave out, which appears to be a common problem with these. They honored the warranty, but took forever and gave absolutely no information or updates about it. When asked via email, they said they were waiting on parts. One day it just showed up with absolutely no paperwork detailing if it had even been fixed at all.
