I'm no $1000 headphone-owning 192kbit-listening audiophile by any stretch, but fwiw this thing sounds amazing to me. I'm just using it via SPDIF on my Windows 10 PC for gaming and music, and also have it powering my dad's old 8 ohm Optimus speakers for the rare times I'm not playing FPSes using my Grado SR80s (pre-e or i version). I've only ever used discrete sound cards when gaming (Creative X-Fi and ASUS Xonar DGX), and I must say this TEAC made me a believer in the notion that analog PC audio is dirty. Clean is the best way I can describe it. The Amazon reviews mentioned above (combined with my order of the HiFiMan HE-350s) really helped me decide this DAC was worth it in the long run. I won't have to upgrade to a new sound card based off of new PCI standards (this has happened) or dropped driver support (also happened) for a long time.

RationalRampageHi there I too got a D30 DAC and Liquid Spark AMP and I also noticed it sounded cleaner than my Xonar DG sound card. Can you elaborate some more on what you think about the Xonar DG and X-FI you owned how they both compared and how the TEAC compared to all of them?
