These appear on AKG/Harman's pro website so I assume they're not Massdrop exclusives like the K7XX (Love those!) Having a pair of older similar K81's I am looking forward to these. The cable is modular so there are plenty of options if the stock cable isn't to one's liking. Thank you AKG! Still hoping for a K6XX! :)

WillI was getting ready to order and I remembered "No USPS" for me, so if this at least is a SurePost that I can upgrade to UPS (as I've been doing) then I can buy it, else if USPS only I can't.

WillIn its simplest terms, I would be seeking the K601/K612 120 ohm drivers in K7XX-like beautiful housing with detachable cable.

dwane5The K6** and K7** share almost everything other than the drivers, 120ohm vs 62ohm. The only other major difference is that the cable is non-removable. Only the K701 shares that,
