adartzivionHad various Koss', had and used various AKGs. Never buying any headphones, but AKG. Objectively: - AKGs have wider frequency range - Koss' have lower impedance (are louder), but have less sensitivity (higher input is needed for them to do stuff). - Can't find anything about Koss' maximum input power

YanDoroshenkoThis info is flawed, you're mixing things up: - sensitivity is the efficiency of the driver, i.e. the higher the sensitivity the higher the dB SPL (volume) you'll get feeding the headphones with the same power. - impedance is a electrical property, and does not affect volume by itself. However, most headphone amplifiers (specially low-cost chips embedded on most PCs/laptops/smartphones/DAPs/whatever) deliver way more power under low impedance loads. That's why most often when you connect two headphones with comparable sensitivity but different impedances to the same source, the one with lower impedance will sound louder. But low headphones impedance usually means less dampening, i.e. more distortion and less "accurate" sound (on dynamic drivers, and not always, that's just a rule of thumb). - AKG is just a brand, they make a huge variety of headphones, from cheap budget IEMs to TOTL over the ear open back headphones. The same can be said about Koss. Some AKGs will have "better" frequency response than some other Koss, and some Koss will have lower impedance, but that's not a valid statement, by far.
Answering to the OP, I'd say Pro4s are mostly better, but they're completely different headphones so it's hard to compare. For the price, probably this AKG are a steal, so they might be better price-performance.

Eli35I was talking only about the specified Kosses and AKGs, not in general. Thank you for correcting me though.

YanDoroshenkoYour earlier comment was indeed very confusing, because you started by saying "various" Koss' and AKGs and also stating "never buying any headphones but AKG". It sounded as if it were a super AKG fan bragging about AKG in general.
An additional comment that Eli35 didn't mention: These AKGs do have wider frequency range than Koss Pro4s but it is discernible by at most 0.00000001% of humans. If one really wants wide FR then he should look into neither AKG nor Koss, but instead some Sony's which will smash these AKGs in terms of FR. I would suggest the OP to either have a listen in person or pay attention to SQ descriptions found in reviews, and in the mean time forget about the numbers of FR.

jiangzhenjerryI guessed @YanDoroshenko meant the FR curve when he said "frequency response", otherwise it'll be silly to compare two headphones just by watching at the specs.
