Just got mine this morning, also does not have a "bump", let's finger cross :( In terms of sound quality, typical AKG house sound and it's jolly good right out of the box. Might not be justifiable for it's list price ($450) but definitely worth over $300 regardless the built concern IMHO. When plugged into my Aune T1 together with "Out of your head" software, honestly I can't hear any differnce compared to my open settings in terms of soundstage. It's exceptionally airy for a close can, however, I doubt it is fully a close back design due to the switchable bass.

"MSRP" on these cans is 'only' $350. The one listed earlier is a gimmick. I think that price is definitely not justifiable either. You're right about it being fairly airy for a closed can, I was genuinely surprised about that. That said, they're not nearly as warm as most open cans I've had. You're also right about them not being exactly closed. They definitely leak sound pretty well. The burn in process has added some definition in the sub-bass department, but otherwise, like you said, they've sounded pretty nice since day one. Now I just need to stop buying headphones and admit I have a problem.
