I will continue to stand by my prior statement that these are some of the best versatile full size portable headphones at this price point. IMHO the biggest point to consider with these is their ergo design...
...which happens to be an over-the-ear AND on-ear headphone at the same time. Meaning there is a full but shallow circumferential ear cushions with a (memory?) foam pad inside resting on top of the ear. I can only guess this was done for isolation and/or portability. I find it weirdly comfortable (because I didn't expect it to be) and have used them for 3-4 hours straight without discomfort. That said, anyone with overly large, protruding and/or other abnormal ears might not find them as comfortable.
I found these to benefit from amping (home Schiit stack and portable CCE), but more so in refinement rather than outright night-and-day difference.

LxJLthrWhat is the clamp force like? Would a big-head find them reasonably comfortable?

ShurIMHO Perfect. Compared to my Senn HD7 and HD600 (which many feel have vice like clamping) very mild, but enough where they won't just fall off. I would not be able to run in these, but have no problems walking around the house. For reference, I have 59 1/2 hat sizing (L/XL) so I can relate to the big head issue LOL

ShurMy head is absurdly large (23.5inches or 60cm circumference) and I find them quite comfortable with a thicker ear pad. The thin ear pads that they come with put pressure on my ears and I found them uncomfortable after an hour or so. Not with the the ones I have on it now though.

HeeftyWhich ear pads did you put on them, if you do not mind me asking?

LxJLthrNo problem at all. I found some JBL J88's for $20 once upon a time and decided to give them a shot. They sucked donkey balls, but their ear pads are a beautiful thing. Cans in pieces (after trying various mods to get them to sound less awful) in a drawer in my desk, earpads on a different set of cans, problem solved.
My one concern with them comes from the hinge system on the AKG. There is a corner that presses into the pad while I'm wearing them so it will eventually wear a hole there and I'll eventually have to replace the earpad. I'm interested in angled ear pads for that reason, but haven't tried any yet.

HeeftyInteresting. The ones in the link? The pads being more square didn't pose fitment issues? How difficult was the swap? Not sure I want to drop $100 just to cannibalize some parts LOL, but I will definitely keep an eye out.

LxJLthrThat's the ones, but like I said I got them for $20. They are certainly not worth $100. They are squared but since they are narrower across than the 267 the overall fit is actually pretty good. Not $100 worth of good, but $20 for sure.
Not hard to swap out. Pretty much like any other ear pad exchange but maybe a little harder to accomplish. Overall the K267 makes changing out ear pads very easy since there's a notch in the rim to slide the pad through and since they're round you just have to keep twisting to get them on until the last 1/8 turn or so.
