Is this not like the 5th or 6th drop of B-Stock for this headphone? With each one being not of insignificant quantities? Don't get me wrong, these are great headphones...but those supply logistics just seem weird to me. Why cannot MD find some HD650 B-Stock for 50% off! LMAO

Yeah I wanted to buy a pair but it's always B-Stock.

This is the same set of B-Stock that they've had since the first time it was dropped. Or so I assume. Every time this was brought back, if you've paid attention to how many were sold with the amount they had for that drop, the next time they came back it was the difference between the amount sold previously. MD isn't constantly sourcing minimal amounts. It's constantly what's leftover from the last drop, give or take a few.

It's only B because they aren't being repackaged into new updated packaging. It's entirely A otherwise. They're originally sealed and unused and still being the revised version.

True. That is a possibility. I did not keep exact track of quantities ordered. But if that's the case then there should be no more drops since this one sold majority (if not all) of the listed units. When I made my previous post, 87 of 105 units were sold :) So we shall wait and see.

I'm thinking that's the case since I kept coming back to consider getting a backup pair, and I did remember each one being the about the amount leftover since the one before it. I also noticed the disclaimer about how and why they are B-Stock still being in the drop listing with each one. I assume it was still the same batch getting smaller and smaller. There was about 8 left since I last was able to check. Maybe AKG does just have more of these than we thought, but I suppose we will see.
