OMG...... Best price I ever seen. Pretty bad that I just used my extra money on q701.

SeanK1996I hope the k553's get along with devices better than the q701's; I can't listen to my q701's without running them through some pretty complex equalising (though I love them with it). The k550's (which the k553's should be similar to) look like they have reduced response in the 4-7k range compared to the q701's, which is part of what kills me with the q701's. Lower impedance should help with running off other sources too, though bad sources will still be bad sources =(

qpyungNah, totally different drivers, Q701 is 45mm, K553 is 50mm, and even besides from size they are engineered completely differently, Q701 is stiff driver, less sensitive, needs an amp, sounds more clinical. K553 is sensitive, doesn't need an amp, has better bass extension and a fuller sound. etc.

New addition to the stable.

I made the decision to take advantage of the $600. price on the HiFiMan Arya Stealth, here pictured with the Meze 109 Pro. I think 2025 is going to be a really uneventful year so far as new purchases. I've also upgraded my Fiio BTR7 to the newly released BTR17 and I purchased the Earmen stack which consists of Amplifier, Linear PS, DAC & Streamer.

DROP BMR1 Broken?

Can anyone help me with this? Went away for dinner and came back home to my speakers making this static sound(Video Link). Its like this both in Line In and Bluetooth mode. These speakers were super super hot but I was told that it was normal for it to be this way. Sucks that literally I am just about two months out of the 1 year warranty :/ If anyone can help me that'd be great.
