is this headphone better than the AKG K550? I just broke my Sennheiser headphone and the 550 were recommended for me. and wanted to know if these were better. thanks.

JackGabbayI don't own the K550 but from what I've read the 553 is a definite improvement. They've fixed the high end peaks that were present in the 550 and generally made the treble smoother. These are also cheaper than most used pairs of 550 you'd find, so there's that.
