Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

Massdrop would be open to the idea of starting another drop, but it's up to Sennheiser. That and the fact that Massdrop doesn't usually drop a product until the previous drop ships.
If you were charged and it's showing up in your transaction history, then you're in. If it's not in your transaction history, then you aren't in the drop.
I am in the drop. My card has been charged. I have not received my product and could not find where the issue originated since neither DHL nor USPS nor Massdrop customer service reps would get back to me. The afore mentioned websites didn't have any information that was useful other than the product had been shipped some time ago but was 'undeliverable'. This was due to a mixup with my address as sent to the delivery people though the info I provided as well as my receipt had all correct delivery and billing information.
With all the horrible runaround I am cancelling the order and probably going to unsubscribe to the site. The second drop for the Sennheiser was most definitely discussed by representatives from Massdrop on the website because of the difficulty that so many people had ordering the cans or getting confirmation.
I just realized that you mentioned this as a second drop. I had no issues purchasing any of my items off massdrop, so it's a bit curious that you've experienced so many issues. Well, the HD 6XX was a bit of a clusterfk, but all the other drops I've joined over the past 2 years have been fine.
Until there is an obvious change...I'll spend 5-10% more elsewhere.
These headphones, however, are great. I've had mine for about two years and love them.
