Would it be possible to get something along the lines of a Massdrop Edition upgrade kit? Looking for the headband and earpads.

I have managed to hold off so far on spending a bunch of money on headphones, but at this point my headset is held together with ducktape, the left side sits lower than the right, and I can only wear it because I have a bunch of paper towels wrapped around the headband to raise it up some and provide cushion. But is does sound pretty good so until it got this broken I couldn't justify spending the money on decent headphones.
I have been wanting the k702, but recently haven't been able to decide between it and the k550 because of being closed (I'm not too concerned about sound leaking out, but isolation would be nice). With this costing less than both the k550 and k702, I think it wins.
As for the deciding factor, what is the interior diameter of the earcups? I don't want it to touch my ears at all. My ears sit pretty close to my head so touching the driver isn't much of an issue and doens't bother me as much anyway. But having headphones press on my ears for several hours gets painful. I am not sure if massdrop staff is still there, but if you are measure the earcups and if they aren't too small you will get another sale.
