I guess Massdrop just lost one international customer. I find it extremely unprofessional that Massdrop can change their international shipping option half way through a drop. Points to their lack of provisioning and preparation. So so sad.

It's not them, it's AKG's international dealers, as is made clear in the post. The international dealers started whining, which neither Massdrop nor AKG expected.

The international customers who got it on the first 2000 batch, will be getting their headphones. They didn't really change the terms for that batch. The next batch, they just kept current drop open for the convenience of the next 2000 that might be impatient about waiting for a new one to open up.
It's unfortunate that AKG decided on no international shipping - but that is nothing MD can control, except try to persuade them. Given that I see MD has more clout in the market, I wouldn't be surprised if it opens up again.

As was stated time and time again, it's not massdrops fault, it's AKG who has been pulling the trigger on the shipping stop.

We don't really have any other choices that answering with our wallets, but I really want these headphones and since they only have 4000 of them, they will get sold no matter what. As an international costumer I feel very left out as there are no other way of getting these.
