Guys im a bit on the fence here, I will be using the headphones for gaming and listening to music ( mostly game soundtracks). for 29 dollars more are these worth it over the ad900x? and how does the sound stage of the K7XX compare to that of the ad900x, since all i hear about the ad900x is praise when used for gaming since they have excellent positional audio.

UnrealmasterI currently have the ad900x and I love them for gaming, music , and movies (also have them hooked up to a xonar stx). I'm in for one of these headphones though because it seems like it could be slight better quality or a "different" sound of the same quality. I can't vouch for akg but the ad900x are extremely comfortable to the point where you don't realize you are wearing them.

I will definitely take that into account. I'm just so conflicted since these are heavily discounted, about $29 difference between the 2 and these look really good IMHO. Anyway, I will most likely get the AD900x, thanks for the advice :)
