Woah, not expecting mine until Monday but they showed up today! I ran the 10Hz to 200Hz test here - http://www.audiocheck.net/soundtests_headphones.php - and didn't notice any rattle in my cans so hopefully just an isolated issue with some units. Hope everyone else receives their goodies ASAP, condolences to those unfortunate 70 that had theirs shipped elsewhere :( (

What is the deal with the plastic covering around the rim of the cup? I don't see that in the stock photos Massdrop advertised with

It's tape you can peel off, meant to protect the rim's finish during shipping.
