Can anyone recommend me an amp/dac to use with these? Trying to work out how much it will cost me all up before the Philips SHP9500 Headphones drop ends in 20 minutes.
Also to anyone wanting to ship it to Australia it might pay off to look at Shopmate (https://shopmate.auspost.com.au/) they seem to be cheapest postage, If you can trust Australia post that is.
gravatosThe case I have is here: https://www.facebook.com/AcousticFun/photos/a.891080550923342.1073741826.448296231868445/894778540553543/
basically anything that have a height (or depth, depending on your point of view) of 12cm or more should fit, the other two dimensions I kinda forgot. I don't have a link to it, because a friend of mine got it off some shop in Taiwan. I think they should be relatively easy to find.
Before that, I use a small cloth "shopping bag" from a cell phone shop, which fit both the headphone and amp quite well. While this is smaller, it provides zero protection, which is why I got the case.
SherakoI know, I also found out placing the headphone diagonally will avoid the cable bend completely... AFTER the photo was taken of course. ;)
There's very little bend when the phone was placed diagonally, and I think I've only bend it in the fashion shown like once or twice.
No worries, I plan to mod it to take balanced signal, so that cable likely won't see a lot of use in about 6 month. ;)
