Anyone have an issue with the balance on these? I've been using them on and off for a while and no matter what these seem to bias the right ear. The only way I can fix it is a manual balance adjust which doesn't seem right.
Any suggestions?
SD-WashuNow its either the headphones fault or the source you are using, are you using it on dac/amp or through the onboard sound?
Tried using it on some other input such as mobile phone etc? if its still the same on other devices then consider it faulty and contact MD, they will get you a replacement pretty fast.
tommydadogTried it on my o2/odac and through my E6 as well as onboard sound on my mac laptop and my pc laptop. Seems to be the same everywhere.
Edit: Just grabbed a Valhalla 2 and modi 2. We'll see how these do with this rig.
HiFiI did. I'm not sure it's across the whole Freq range either. Like if I test certain mono tracks it's ok but others it's not. I also get a lot of phasing (I think thats right) on some of the freq sweep tests at multiple volumes.
EDIT: Also tried my O2/ODAC at both power levels. I don't see this behavior with my Senn 598, 800, K240, or K271. Or at least not to this extent, it almost feels like there is more pressure in one ear than the other. Don't get the bass rattle or anything like that.
Any suggestions?
