Before I join in with this drop, I was just wondering if anyone can give me advice whether or not to get these. The only nice headphone I have had is Bose noise cancelling QC 15. Aside from these I have never had any headphones comparable to these.

Keep in mind these are open back. That means sound will leak out. They aren't great in offices or locations where what you are listening to might bother others. But it also makes the sound more open. You will see people comment about a better sound stage.
They need a little more power than normal head phones. You should be able to power them with a phone or computer. But you won't be able to get them loud without a powered amp or DAC/amp. I find them loud enough without an amp. Your mileage may vary.
These will sound tons better than the QC 15's. But they serve different purposes. QC 15's are meant to provide noise canceling first. QC 15's may sound good but they aren't meant for audiophiles. K7XX have much bigger drivers and frequency response.

Bose makes its marketing and publicity based on their noise cancellation (wich is amazing i must say), but not on their sound quality ;) (wich is not 100% crap, but just average i'd say) What's the 1st purpose of a headphone ? The sound of course ! Now as already said by Tims, the 7XX is a open back headphone, so it's mainly suited for home use (leaks lot of sound, not foldable, huge cable, etc) If you spend your time travelling, in airplanes, trains and stuff, the QC15 is better then But, if like me, you spend a lot of time chillin alone on computer, listening good quality music, or even playing video games, the amazing sound of these cans wont disapoint you :)
In short, there is no perfect headphones, it mainly depends on your needs !
Good luck (:
